The Referee will call penalties.

Referees determine incidental contact that may result from normal run of play.

Only the Head Coach may ask the referee questions about rule clarification and interpretations. Players may not question calls.

Flag Obstruction

All Jerseys must be tucked in before play begins. The flags must be on the players hips and free from obstruction. Deliberately obstructed flags will be considered flag guarding. Jerseys tucked out during the play will be considered down once players jersey is tugged. Player's flag falls off during course of play without contact, player is down.

Catch- 1 foot in bounds.

TD- Ball breaks the plane of the endzone.

Bad snap ball placed line of Scrimmage.

Interceptions (Pick 6) can be run back for touchdown.

Interceptions on 1pt conversion can be run back for 1 pt.

Interceptions on 2 pt conversion can be run back for 2 pts.

No Rushing/Blitzing QB has 5 Second count or dead ball next down.

New Rule **10-11 & 12-14 age group will use QB tee (buzzer will go off on 5 second count).

New Rule ** 10-11 & 12-14 age group Pass behind line of scrimmage must be at the hash.

New Rule ** All Age Groups  run play-player has to be at the hash when crossing line of scrimmage and can run anywhere from there.

Game Management

Timeouts

(2) 1-minute timeouts per half
The clock will only stop for time-outs and injuries (it does not stop for incomplete passes, out of bounds, change of possession)
The clock will also stop in the final 2 minutes of the game (4th Qtr) if there is an offensive penalty, incomplete pass, or player runs out of bounce.
Clock will not stop in the last 2 minutes if a team is up more than 14pts.

Mercy Rule Team up 28-0 Score will not be kept (highest point differential allowed)

Beginning Game Play
At the start of each game, captains from both teams shall meet at midfield for the coin toss to determine who will start with the ball. The visiting team will call the toss.
The winner of the coin toss has the choice of offense or defense.
Overtime team coin toss will be determined by home team calling the toss and choice of offense/defense.

Run Plays
No Run Zone (Minor & Peewee Division) There are no runs within five yards of the midfield first down (25-20-yard line), or five yards of the goal line (5yard line-Goal line).

No Run Zone (Major & Pro Division) There are no runs within five yards of the first down (40-35-yard line), (25-20-yard line), or five yards of the goal line (5yard line-Goal line).

Runs must be to the Hash before passing the line of scrimmage, then the player can run anywhere. 

QB can't Run or leave the backfield!! QB Can roll out the pocket behind the line of scrimmage.

Penalty within No Run Zone does not allow the Offensive team to use a run.

Defense has to align 3 yards back from the line of scrimmage.

Defense can't pass 3 yards until ball leaves QB hands or ball is handed off.

Pass behind line of scrimmage must be outside hash for 10-11or 12-14 age group.

Toss behind line of scrimmage can be run within hash marks but outside tackle box.

Ball carrier's flag in advertently falls off during the course of play the defense must one hand touch him down.

No Safeties

No Laterals past original line of scrimmage unless last 10 seconds of Game

In the case of an inadvertent whistle, the offense has two options:

a. Take the ball where it was then the whistle blew, and down is replayed.

b. Replay the down from the original line of scrimmage.

Sportsmanship Rule:

If a team is leading by a margin of 28 or more points, the running clock will apply and only stop for charged timeouts. Score will not be increased when mercy rule applies.

Misconduct By Players, Managers, and Spectators
Unsportsmanlike conduct Pushing of players, verbal abuse, or profanity is not tolerated Automatic 10-yard penalty. 2nd Unsportsmanlike is automatic ejection.

Overtime

Penalties
